Casa dos Sonhos (House of Dreams) was built about 200 years ago. It is single storey and was modernised and converted from two dwellings into one house about 10 years ago. The house features many typical Algarvian features including open beamed ceilings throughout, archways and alcoves to most rooms, and lovely tiled decorative wall panels.

The house consists of two double bedrooms (one with twin beds, the other with a double bed), and a single bedroom with an additional put-me-up bed suitable for a child. There is also a bed settee in the lounge. We do provide a travel cot and high chair.

There are two bathrooms, a modern kitchen, a good sized sitting room and separate dining room.

Outside is a swimming pool and garden, with flowering shrubs and citrus trees. Guests are free to enjoy freshly picked citrus fruits from the garden. There is a sheltered patio running along the front of the house, a poolside barbecue is provided.

The house has local and satellite TV and a video player. The kitchen includes a microwave, blender etc. and there is a washing machine. The house is cosy in winter, with a wood-burning stove and electric panel radiators. In summer the shutters keep the interior cool. Whilst the house can accommodate up to 7, many of our guests are couples.

The maid visits twice during the week, plus Saturday to do the basic cleaning and to change and wash the bed linen and towels. We have a local manager who looks after the house and can assist if clients have any problems.
